Our eco-friendly flat bottom pouches are based on mono-material laminates as PE/PE or PP/PP, engineered for mechanical recycling while maintaining sealing strength and barrier properties. We also integrate EVOH layers in our recyclable films to provide enhanced oxygen protection. These structures remain compatible with the UK’s recycling stream and align with OPRL guidance & local collection capabilities. However, we always advise our clients to check local kerbside recycling availability, as collection systems can vary across the UK.
We support the use of thinner plastic films, which not only reduce overall material consumption but also help lower carbon footprint during production and transport. For compostable packaging, we offer plastic-free films certified for industrial or home composting. These structures are made of PLA films and cellulose materials, mainly laminated with kraft paper.
