We offer advanced features including anti-fog films to keep chilled packs clear, resealable zippers for freshness after opening, laser scoring for easy and controlled tearing, and clear windows that showcase the product inside. These options are available across all pouch and film formats, with recyclable packaging in mono-material PE or PP also available along with guidance on UK recycling routes. Mono-Material Revolution

Traditional packaging relies on laminating different plastics (like PET and PE) together. While effective, this creates a recycling nightmare.

Our Aropack Mono technology uses oriented polyethylene (BOPE) to provide the heat resistance and stiffness of PET, whilst remaining a pure PE structure. This means the entire pouch can be recycled into new pellets.

Mono-Material Structure

Our Aropack Mono technology utilizes oriented polyethylene (BOPE) matched with specialized coatings. This creates a structure that is 100% recyclable within the standard LDPE stream (Recycle Code 4).

Decarbonizing the Supply Chain

We don’t just talk about sustainability, we measure it properly. Life cycle assessment (LCA) data shows that packaging material selection and recycled content are two of the highest leverage inputs for reducing cradle-to-gate greenhouse gas emissions.

By replacing conventional multi-material laminates with recyclable mono-material PE or PP structures, and increasing post-consumer recycled (PCR) content where performance allows, brands can reduce kg CO2e per kg of film without changing pack format or line equipment. The reduction comes primarily from lower virgin resin demand, improved end-of-life alignment for mono-materials, and optimised film design.

Rotogravure and digital printing differ primarily in the way they transfer images onto the print substrate.

Gravure printing involves using engraved cylinders to apply ink to the substrate. It’s best suited for large-scale production runs, offering consistent, high-quality prints with vibrant colors and intricate details. While the setup time is longer, it becomes more cost-effective as the order quantity increases.

Digital printing bypasses the need for physical plates or cylinders, applying the image directly onto the material using digital technology. This method is faster to set up and offers greater flexibility, making it ideal for smaller runs or designs that require frequent updates.

We can print up to 10 colours with Rotogravure printing, including surface varnishes. With digital printing, the colour possibilities are endless, allowing you to use as many colours as you like!

We offer a variety of material finishes for all our product types, including:

We provide a variety of environmentally friendly  packaging options to meet different needs. Our recyclable flexible packaging solutions are often made from mono-material LDPE and BOPP, which are plastics that can be recycled into new products. For a plastic-free alternative, we offer compostable packaging that can naturally decompose in the environment. However, this option has limited applications and may not be suitable for all product types.

When recommending the best flexible pouch packaging, we take into account all aspects of the materials and their intended use.

The disposal options for our environmental packaging depend on the material and the waste processing facilities available in your area. Our compostable packaging can be disposed of in-home recycling bins as they are plastic-free and made of paper materials.

For customers in Ireland and certain European countries, our recyclable packaging can also be placed in dry recycling waste bins at home. In other regions, this packaging may need to be taken to collection points at larger stores.
